Mass Communication Courses: In the digital era, mass communication has become the most valuable course to study. Mass Communication UG Courses Eligibility:

Candidates should clear Class 12th with any stream from a recognized board with the minimum percentage of 50% as stipulated by a university/college are eligible to take admission. Some universities/ colleges also require candidates to be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admissions (depending on the university norms)

Mass Comm. PG Courses Eligibilty:

All applicants must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a renowned university with a minimum of 60% marks. The age of the candidates should be minimum of 23 years or more in age at the time of admissions.

Mass Communication Admission Procedure 2024:

Mass Comm. UG Courses Admission 2024:

To get admission in the UG courses of mass communication, the candidate has to visit the online website of the respective university/college in which he wants to take admission. By filling up the Application form applicants can enroll themselves for the entrance examination. After clearing the entrance exam counseling and group discussion will be done as per the schedule of the college. On the basis of skills and abilities, scholars will be shortlisted for admission. Some universities/colleges also admit the aspirants directly on the basis of 12th marks.

Mass Comm. PG Courses Admission 2024:

Admission criteria for PG courses are the same as in UG courses. The entrance exam is conducted for selecting the deserving aspirants. Some universities/ colleges also admit the candidates directly on the basis of bachelor’s marks.

Bachelor's Degrees in Mass Communication: (Duration: 3 Years)

The undergraduate program in mass communication is of three-year that comprises six semesters. Scholars after completing 10+2 (from any stream) with at least 50% marks are eligible to opt for this course. For gaining admission to an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from any University or Institute, a candidate should be 17 years of age at the time of admission. Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC):

Bachelor of Journalism and  Mass Communication is a 3-years undergraduate mass communication course. An interesting fact about the BJMC course is that it enables the applicants to work in various media like print, radio, television, internet, and the list continues.

Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM):

BMM Course is an undergraduate course dealing with communication mediums used by the masses. The duration of the course is 3 years. The course includes the study of different channels of communication such as newspapers, television, radio, and the internet.

Bachelor of Journalism (BJ):

Bachelor of Journalism is an undergraduate degree in the field of journalism and mass communication that candidates can pursue right after their Class 12. BJ Course is a three years duration course in which aspirants are taught about various aspects of the media industry like research, reporting, compiling, writing, editing as well as the presentation of information.

Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC):

BMC Course is a 3 years full-time postgraduate course. This degree is awarded in Mass Communication with concentrations in journalism, Advertising, Sports Communication, Communication Studies, International Communication, and Public Relations.

Postgraduate Degrees in Mass Communication: (Duration: 2 Years)

The duration of a master's degree in mass communication is for two years. Master of Journalism (MJ):

Masters of journalism is a 2-year postgraduate mass communication course. MJ Course is entirely based on live output and trains journalists across all three main areas of journalism - broadcasting, news and newspaper reporting as well as magazines and the internet.

Master of Mass Communication (MMC):

Post Graduate in Mass Communication is of recent origin. It’s a diploma course that can be pursued by the aspirants after finishing his/her bachelor's education. Duration of PG Diploma is of 1 year. Several PG Diploma courses are:

PG Diploma in TV Journalism & Communication:

  • This course emphasis on Practical hands-on training which enables aspirants to join television news and entertainment channels, production houses, Bollywood/ TV serials, FM stations, etc. The duration of this course is 1-year

Diploma/PG Diploma in Photography:
