Details of AKTU MCA Entrance Exam:

AKTU MCA Entrance Exam is formally known as the UPCET Entrance exam which is conducted by NTA. The conducting authority has not released any notification related to the exam yet. We will notify you about the AKTU MCA Entrance Exam as soon as an official announcement is commenced by the NTA.

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) was conducted by the university every year to offer admissions to various UG and PG courses including MCA courses. The National Testing Agency has renamed the UPSEE entrance exam to the UPCET entrance exam. Also, the exam conducting authority for UPCET MCA Entrance Exam is changed. In other words, the UPCET entrance exam is the new AKTU MCA entrance exam 2025. Candidates who are seeking admission to AKTU or any other MCA college in Uttar Pradesh must have to appear in the UPCET Entrance exam which will now be conducted by NTA.

UPCET MCA Entrance Exam 2025 is tentatively going to be conducted in June. NTA will release the notification related to the exam application probably at the end of March or in 1st week of April.

UPCET Eligibility Criteria / AKTU MCA Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria:

To get admission to the MCA course offered by AKTU and AKTU-affiliated colleges, it is mandatory to appear in the UPCET entrance exam and the following are the eligibility requirements every candidate needs to fulfill to appear in UPCET MCA Entrance Exam:

Qualification Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission:

The candidate must hold at least a 3-year BCA/B.Sc in Computer Science/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent degree obtained from a UGC recognized university.
The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in his/her qualifying examinations. Candidates who belong to the reserved category must have at least 45% or equivalent in the qualifying examination.
The candidate must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level and must have obtained passing marks in the subject.
Candidates who have not completed their graduation and are still appearing in the final year of their BCA/BSc in C.S/B.Tech in C.S can also apply for the UPCET MCA Entrance exam. However, they won’t be considered a valid applicant for admissions if they fail to present their final exam mark sheet during t.he document verification process and counseling

Age Limit: There is no certain age limit to appear in the UPCET MCA Entrance Exam 2025. Candidates of any age group can apply for this entrance exam if he fulfills all other eligibility requirements.

Nationality: Indian citizens, foreign nationals, PIOs are eligible to apply for the AKTU MCA Entrance Exam.

Domicile: Candidates who are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admissions. The candidates who do not have a domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh can also apply for the entrance exam and AKTU MCA Admissions 2025, however, they will be subjected to only 20% of the total seats available in the MCA program.

The UPCET 2025 Application form is expected to be released in the first week of April 2025 on the official website upcet.nta.nic.in. Steps to fill UPCET Application Form:

Follow these easy steps to fill your UPCET Application Form 2025:

Step 1: UPCET 2025 Registration

Visit the official website of UPCET: www.upcet.nta.nic.in
Click on the UPCET Registration link displayed on the homepage of the website.
Now you will be redirected to the registration page, click on the "New Registration" option
Now an instruction page will be displayed on the screen, read the instructions carefully, and then proceed to fill the registration form.
Enter all the details asked in the form carefully. You have to provide the correct mobile no. and email address during your registration.
Recheck your details and create a password for your registration and then click on "Submit" /”Register”.
Your registration for UPCET is completed.

Now you need to proceed with filling the application form.

Step 2: Fill the UPCET 2025 Application Form

After completing your registration, an application no. will be sent to your registered mobile no. end email address. Login using that UPCET application no. and password you've created during your UPCET Registration 2025, also enter your “course” i.e MCA.
After successfully logging in, Fill in the required details such as your father's name, gender, caste category, Aadhar no. and qualification details such as the name of the board, passing year, name of the university, marks obtained, etc.
Enter your residential details like address, locality, city, district, Pincode, etc.
Select the MCA course when asked for your desired course and select the name of the preferred exam center.
Check the details you entered in UPCET Application Form 2025 carefully.

Step 3: Upload the Required Documents

Upload a scanned photograph with your name written under the passport size photograph. Also, upload a neatly scanned image of your signature. If you hold any disability certificate, upload it as well.

Step 4: Pay the UPCET Application Fee 2025

To submit the application, candidates have to pay the UPCET Application fee. It can be paid by using a debit card/credit card/net banking or E-wallets. The application fee varies category-wise.

Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS categories have to pay the application fee of Rs 1300 and Female candidates/SC/ST/PwD category candidates have to pay Rs 650 only during the application process.

After paying the application fee, your application will be submitted automatically. We strictly advise you to download and save your application fee and the fee receipt for further use.

UPSET Counselling 2025/ AKTU MCA Counselling 2025

Qualifying UPCET MCA Entrance exam 2025 is one thing and successfully securing the MCA seat for admission is another. To get admission to the MCA course offered by AKTU and its affiliated universities, the candidates must go through counseling rounds. The seat allotment will be done during UPCET MCA Counselling only. The mode of the counseling will be online and candidates have to register themselves on the official website to attend it.

Procedure of UPCET Counselling 2025:

Well, Candidates first need to register themselves for counseling on the official website of UPCET. Please note that the counseling will be started only after a few days of the Result declaration. It is a 5 step procedure and these are the five steps of UPCET Counselling 2025:

Step 1: Online Registration for UPCET Counselling 2025

As soon as the counseling begins, the candidates have to register themselves for counseling on the official website. Follow the given steps to register yourself for UPCET MCA Counselling.

1. Visit the official website

2. Click on the link that says "Online Registration for UPCET PG Counselling CMAT (MBA) and UPCET (MBA/MCA)."

3. Click on the "New Candidate Registration" and enter all the details asked in the registration form. If you are already registered then simply sign in by entering your Roll no. , Password, Type of registration, and security pin.

Now complete the Counselling registration process by paying the online counseling fee using any online payment mode.

Step 2: Document Verification

After Fee payment, the candidate needs to upload clearly scanned copies of his/her qualification certificates and other documents such as caste certificate, identity proof, etc. The size of these documents must be the same as prescribed on the website. Please check for the required size on the form only.

Step 3: Online Choice Filling & Locking

Once you pay the counseling fee of Rs 1000, the "choice filling and locking" link will be activated on the login page immediately. Sometimes your payment takes time to be updated at the NIC server, in this case, you will have to wait for a few minutes to get it updated. Once the link is activated, fill in your choice of college and course. A word of advice: Try to fill maximum no. of choices, so you would have more options for AKTU MCA Admissions 2025.

Please note that you have to fill and lock the choices in a specified period of time, so try to make the decision ASAP. If you fail to lock your choice before the specified time, the system will automatically lock the choices you filled initially. So it’s better to make it as quick as possible.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

The seat allotment is done after 5 to 10 days of the choice filling. You can check your seat allotment result on the official website by entering the "application no." and "password". The MCA seat allotment will be done on the basis of the UPCET Merit list, availability of seats for your category, and course. Candidates who are not satisfied with their college can apply for the 2nd round of counseling to secure a seat in their desired college or course.

Step 4: Reporting

After the result declaration of seat allotment, you must have to report to the college in the given time period with the required documents. If in case you fail to report in the given period of time, your seat allotment will be canceled immediately and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate on the merit list.

AKTU MCA Admissions 2025:

After the successful completion of counseling and seat ace allotment, you have to reach out to the admission cell of the allotted college and present your provisional seat allotment letter. This letter will be sent to you after paying the seat confirmation fee during the UPCET Counselling 2025.

Candidates need to pay the remaining amount of the fee for 1st Semester and present all the required documents to the admission office. Please note that you need to bring both original documents and self-attested copies of the documents.
