JEE Main Exam 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an All-India Engineering Entrance examination that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Earlier the exam was organized by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE). JEE Main and JEE Advanced organize the JEE Examination.

JEE Mains 2025 Exams are of the objective pattern. JEE Main Exam Application Form filling process starts on November 01 2023 and ends on December 04, 2023. The online application form will be available on the official website of NTA @https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/.
The examination is conducted twice a year. The first phase of the JEE Mains Exam 2025 is scheduled online mode on 24 January and the Second Phase is scheduled from April 01 2025. Applicants who have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their intermediate (65% for SC/ ST category) can only appear for this exam.
JEE Mains Exam incorporates two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can appear for any one of them or both depending upon their interests. Both papers encompass multiple-choice questions. Paper 1 of the JEE Main Exam (B.E./ B.Tech) is a gateway to various IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs and is conducted through both online and offline modes. Paper 2 is for admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses and is conducted through the offline mode only.
JEE Main, unlike JEE Advanced, has an established exam composition and is not directed to change every year. Paper 1 consists of a total of 30 Multiple Choice Questions from each of the three subjects i.e., Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. There is a negative marking for every wrong or incorrect answer. Also, 4 marks will be given for marking a correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

Per the JEE Mains Exam eligibility criteria, an applicant must be born on or after October 1, 1993, and there is a relaxation of 5 years in the age of SC/ST/PWD candidates. The eligibility criteria of the JEE Main Exam will specify the age limit, academic qualifications, nationality, and other mandatory requirements that must be met by all the appearing candidates.

One of the most important processes for the candidates to get selected in the topmost college of India is to fill out the JEE Main Registration Form. The JEE Main Registration Form contains general information about the candidates along with their course choices and their preferences that will be recorded in their JEE Main Exam Result and based on those details admission will take place. The JEE Mains Registration Form will start on November 1, 2023, and end by December 4, 2023 (9 PM). There is a JEE Main Application Fee that the candidates have to submit to complete the JEE Main Registration Form.

The JEE Main Exam Syllabus is released on the official website of NTA and candidates can download it from there. The syllabus of the JEE Mains Exam incorporates various subjects that the candidates have studied in their classes 11th and 12th. The JEE Main syllabus is available in PDF format for the candidates on the official website of NTA. To get the JEE Mains Syllabus, candidates can download it easily from the official web portal of NTA. Aspirants can come across the JEE Main syllabus before they prepare for the JEE Main Exam to ensure that they cover all the topics and subjects and also to plan their study according to the exam pattern.
The JEE Main Exam Result will be released on the official website of NTA on February 12, 2025. All the candidates can get official notifications related to the results on the website of NTA.
