Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 11th Admission: Eligibility Criteria:
Before taking admission to the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya class 11th, students are advised to check the eligibility criteria first and then apply for admission. Students can check the eligibility criteria that we have provided below:
(1). Students who want to be admitted in class 11th should be between the ages of 14-18 as of 1st July of the year of admission.
(2). To be eligible for class 11th admission students must have completed class 10th from a recognized school that is affiliated to CBSE or any recognized state education board of the district where JNV is located.
(3). The merit list for the admission of class 11 will be released by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya based on the marks obtained by the students in the class 10th board exams. The admission of the students is based on the student’s eligibility and seat available in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
(4). The students must have competency in both languages Hindi and English.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned districts notifies the students regarding the vacant seats through the local newspaper every year.

JNV 11th Admission Form 2025:
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya admission is based on a merit list. The admission of the students for class 11th is based on the marks obtained in class 10th (CGPA). Some schools may conduct entrance tests but it’s not necessary and you can see the detailed JNV Admission Official Notification at the official website portal. Students who are interested in applying for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 11th admission form will have to submit their applications between 3rd July and 31st July (dates are tentative). If any vacancy exists, then admission is provided based on the merit list prepared by a committee constituted by the Ministry. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 11th admission form 2025 will be uploaded on the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Students are advised to check the website daily for any updates regarding the JNV’s 11th admission form and must be filled before the last date of admission form.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya provides free education to students from rural areas therefore there is no fee charged for the admission form of class 11th. However, students of class 11th have to pay a nominal fee according to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti policy. Selection Process for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 11th Admission:
1. The admission of the students is made against the available vacancies in class 11th based on the marks scored by the students in class 10th board exams.
2. A merit list will be prepared district wise and students will be selected against the available vacancies.
3. After the selection of the students against the available seats in the NVS of districts, a common merit list will be prepared on the state level.
4. Selected students will be notified by the principal of the respective Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya School through SMS or speed post.
