Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology is a private college established in 2000 under the Rajiv Gandhi Educational Trust. Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology popularly known as BBDIT is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU), Lucknow, and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

BBDIT, Ghaziabad is one of the best private Universities in Uttar Pradesh and provides quality education in the field of Engineering, Management and Pharmacy courses. The Institute has collaborations with the Institute of Engineers, India, the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India, and the Computer Society of India.

The infrastructure of Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad:

The College has a well-equipped infrastructure containing all the modern facilities like Computer Labs, a library, gymnasium, sports facilities, and a hostel. The Institute also has a modern cafeteria to cater to the food requirements of the students.

Hostel:

Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The boy's hostel is located inside the campus and the girl's hostel is located in close proximity to the campus in a secured area. Both the boy's and the girl's hostel have high-speed internet connectivity and all major facilities like furniture, continuous water supply, and mess. The boy's hostel has a total capacity of 400 beds and there is 24-hour electricity backup in the hostel.

Library:

The BBDIT library has a total area of 1000 square meters and has books, journals, magazines of National and International fame. Several academic activities take place within the library like reading, group discussions, software development, and computer programming. The library has a total seating capacity of 1000 students at a time and has internet connectivity within its premises.

Co-curricular activities:

Besides quality education, Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology holds co-curricular activities inside its campus-like Republic Day, Diwali, and Annual Day Celebrations. The students can engage in sports activities in their free time and play games like Badminton and Cricket. The outdoor college ground is large and students can participate in cricket, volleyball, and Long Tennis tournaments. Along with this, BBDIT also has a well-equipped gymnasium with experienced trainers for fitness-conscious students.

Computer labs:

The College has a state-of-the-art computer lab with specialized software like Java, Macromedia suite, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Frontpage 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional, Norton Antivirus, Cadence, Multimedia suite. Besides a centralized computer facility,  each Department has its own computer lab and offers software development courses.
