Sir C.R. Reddy College of Engineering was established in 1989, since its inception the college has been a premier institute in terms of providing quality of education and making its students ready for the professional world. The institute focuses on giving professional and technical training to the students. The institute is sanctioned and recognized by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). The institute is affiliated with JNTUK (Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Kakinada) from the academic year 2017-2018. The institute is fulfilling its motto of 'QUALITY SERVICE & VALUE BASED EDUCATION' to the student community for the last two decades. The institute is accredited to NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Sir C.R Reddy College of Engineering is located near Vatluru railway gate in Eluru, the HeadQuarters of West Godavari district. It is on the Chennai-Howrah highway and train route and is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. A large number of buses and trains run via this town. It is easily accessible from any part of the country by rail as well as road.
