BHM Course: Bachelors in Hotel Management (BHM) is a 3-year undergraduate course varying from college to college. To secure admission in the BHM course, the candidate must have passed 12th standard (Arts, Commerce or Science). The academic program is 3 years long which deals with the management of the operation of a hotel, motel, resort, and similar establishments. If a candidate wants to build his/her career in the Hotel Management sector, then this is an ideal course for them.

The course primarily deals with hotel management. It also deals with associated areas such as finance, communication skills, HR management, marketing, etc. The main aim of the course is to apply management principles to solve problems related to the hotel management sector. Eligibility Criteria for BHM Course:

The candidates should complete their 10+2 or its equivalent exam in any stream with Hotel Management and Cater as one of the subjects also. It is compulsory for students to have English as a core subject to study if they want to pursue a hotel/hospitality management course. Aspirants have to go through individual entrance exams conducted by the Universities/colleges in accordance with the admission procedure.

The cut-offs for admission for this course may vary from college to college. The course provides technical knowledge and skills in distinct phases of hotel management. The course enables the candidate to gain adequate managerial and hospitality abilities to meet the ever-growing demands of the hotel and tourism industry.

BHM Course Admission Procedure 2024:

Admission to the BHM Course program is through both entrance examinations and merit-based. There are certain universities that offer both direct admission and entrance based admission to the program. However, few Universities require Candidates to have given any of the applicable Entrance Exams for Bachelor of Hotel Management.

Candidates who are applying for the Bachelor of Hotel Management program should beforehand have their results from the respective Entrance Exams required by the selected/opted Universities. Applications for admissions can be availed either from the University website or by visiting the Admissions Office of the same. Candidates will have to fill out the required details in a match with the existing documents.

Candidates are advised to have a look at the list of Entrance Exams applicable for the BHM course, for various Universities. Candidates should also make sure they qualify in the Education Eligibility criteria with the minimum required marks.
