About BASLP Course

The Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology or the BASLP Course duration is a four-year full-time undergraduate course. This course is specifically designed for students who have passed out of 10+2 examinations in the Science Stream, from a recognized educational board.

The students learn the techniques and methods used in diagnosing and treating speech and hearing, along with balance-related disorders in people.

This course comes under the health support sector which specifically focuses on audio and hearing technology. The BASLP Course comes under paramedical Sciences and is subdivided into two main subjects: Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

The course is subdivided into six semesters of coursework and 2 semesters of internships. (3 years + 1 year).

The course section on Audiology includes the science of hearing. It deals with the study of sound and balance disorders as well as hearing and the rehabilitation of people suffering from disorders related to hearing and balance.
