To become a qualified homeopath, one needs to undergo a substantial study of five-and-a-half years in a college recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy which includes 4.5 years of study and one year of training which is compulsory in the hospitals during which any student should gain practical exposure.

Eligibility Criteria for BHMS Course in India
In order to complete post-graduation in BHMS, candidates must have passed their 10+2 with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects and they have to score a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate and must also have qualified in the NEET UG Exam.
These candidates must not be less than 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the given academic year for which the admissions are conducted. Those candidates who are applying should be medically fit to apply for the BHMS course.
BHMS Course Admission Process 2024
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the common gateway to get admission in any of the medical courses, including BHMS. The eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with 50 percent marks in aggregate in PCB along with the minimum passing number in each individual subject. Their candidates must also have studied English as a core subject.
