A post-graduation is a valuable degree in this field that helps you in your success. It is a branch of engineering which is related to the extraction of minerals from the ground. This subject focuses on different aspects of the extraction process. The mining process causes a lot of pollution which leads to a disturbance in the environment.

Also, this is a master’s degree which makes you eligible for higher ranks. Different institutes provide M.Tech Mining Engineering courses. All of them have their own set of rules. However, they all are allied with AICTE, so their syllabus and educational patterns have only slight differences.

Entrance Exam for M.Tech Mining Engineering Course:

The level of education is not the same in every college which provides a Masters in Technology mining engineering course. But how can you find the best college for this course? The best way to get to a top college for any course is through an entrance exam. This makes you eligible to take admission for any course. Entrance exams for M.Tech mining engineering courses are tough because they evaluate your knowledge of the subjects of the graduation course.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): This exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institutes of Science (IISc) to get admission in M.Tech courses. This exam is held once a year and is one of the toughest exams in India. The syllabus of this exam consists of all the major subjects of the B.Tech Course. You can also take admission in the IITs after this exam.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET): This is an eligibility exam to get admission in different Post graduation courses. Anna University conducts this exam on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu which are affiliated with Anna university consider the score of the TANCET exam.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT): This is a national exam conducted by BITS. This exam is required to take admission in different courses available in the institute.

Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Exam (TS PGECET): This exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The score of this exam is required to take admission in colleges of Telangana which is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

M.Tech Mining Engineering Course Duration and Eligibility:
