Punjab Board 11th Exam 2025: Punjab Board or PBSE is a state-level government educational board for the state of Punjab. It has the authority to design, authorize the course curriculum, assignments, and conduct examinations for different classes including Punjab Board 11th Exam, and provide academic support to different schools and educational institutions affiliated with it. Punjab Board was established in 1969 under a legislative act, like all other educational boards, by the government of Punjab.

The Punjab Board is headed by a full-time chairman, whose serving term lasts three years and he himself or herself directly reports to the secretary of school education under the Government of Punjab. The main aim of the Punjab Board includes the safety and development of the educational qualifications in the state to increase tenfold or be at least better than before. In short, the functions and responsibilities of the Punjab Board cover a wide and diverse range of aspects or stages of school education.

Its main functions included administering the course curriculum, conducting standardized examinations for different classes and administering scholarships to deserving candidates, publish curriculum textbooks or reference books to be used by students, among many.

• To act as an advisory body to the State government of Punjab, regarding school education in the state of Punjab. 
• To make the necessary arrangements for affiliating different schools to the Board.
• To make efforts towards improving the quality of education, especially school education in the state of Punjab. 
• To prescribe the class and course or subject curriculum along with courses of study. 
• The board has a full-fledged wing that specifically looks out for grievances and matters related to academics or education, comprising subject matter experts. 
• Prepare and revise the syllabus regularly to ensure up-to-date subjects and topics are taught to the students. 
• Preparation and publishing of textbooks, papers, model papers, sample papers, etc. 
• To make necessary arrangements for the smooth functioning of examinations at the level of school and distance alike. At present the Punjab Board currently conducts the examination at the level of the middle, which is 5th grade, matriculation, that is class 10th & 12th, which is the senior secondary level of examination.

The Punjab Board conducts supplementary examinations for students who failed in one or two subjects or candidates who need to reappear for the examinations. The date sheet for the supplementary exams is released on the official website after the release of the Punjab Board 11th exam results online on the official web portal. The supplementary examinations are conducted in August and the supplementary results are likewise announced in September.

Punjab Board 11th Registration Form:

The Punjab Board 11th Registration Form has been released on the official website of the board in October usually. Students can register themselves for the examination that will be conducted next year that is the class 12th board examination. Candidates who wish to fill the Punjab Board 11th exam registration process must start by filling up the registration form online. They must do so under the guidance and counseling of the school authorities. The candidates must pay the registration form fee to complete the registration process.

Students need to check and download their admit cards once they are released to be eligible to appear for their examinations.

Candidates who are students of the 11th Punjab Board need to know the syllabus inside out to be able to cover all the aspects of the syllabus, the topics, the various practicals, and subject-related questions.
