Assam TET Recruitment: The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) is the teacher eligibility exam at the state level. Assam TET Exam is conducted by the Department of School Education. This exam is also known as Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). Qualifications for Assam lower primary TET:

12th (or it's equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
12th (or it is equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 4-year degree in graduation in Elementary Education.
OR
12th (or it is equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma degree in education (D.Ed).
OR
Any Bachelor’s degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Any Bachelor’s degree with minimum marks of 50% and along with that B.Ed program which is completed from a recognized university.

Qualifications for Assam upper primary TET:

Any Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Any Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed program.
OR
12th (or it's equivalent) with 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education.
