AP LAWCET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the AP LAWCET 2025, candidates must check out the eligibility criteria for verifying whether they are eligible or not. If candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification pdf, then their application will not be considered. The eligibility criteria according to educational qualification are as follows :

Educational qualification for five-year integrated LLB course:

  • Candidates must have completed their two-year Intermediate examination / Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
  • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in Class 12th examination.
  • Candidates belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Educational qualification for three-year LLB course:

  • Candidates must have completed their graduation with a (10+2+3) layout in any stream from a recognised board/university.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%, for BC category are 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.
  • Candidates in the general category with less than 45% marks in their graduation can also take the AP LAWCET if they have an additional graduate or postgraduate degree in which they secured a minimum of 45%.
