Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025

BITSAT Exam 2025:

➣ BITSAT Exam also known as the BITS admission test aims to enroll the candidates in the different Degree Programs in B.E, B.Pharma, and M.Sc Courses.

➣ The BITSAT Exam is highly competitive and is conducted at the university level. Several candidates enroll for the BITS Examination every year and are placed in one of the three campuses located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

When can you apply for BITSAT 2025?

BITSAT is a University level entrance exam that is conducted for Undergraduate Engineering courses. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and about 3 lac aspirants enroll for the entrance exam every year. The BITSAT 2025 Exam will be held for admission to the BE, B.Pharma, and M.Sc courses in the Birla Institutes of Technology and Science.

You can apply for BITSAT 2025 if you have qualified for the recent or the previous year’s Class 12 Board Examination.

The chief eligibility criteria of the BITSAT 2025 Exam are as follows:

• Candidates who are applying for the exam must qualify for the 2025 Class 12 Examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.
• Since the Examination is conducted in English the candidates must have English as their compulsory language in Class 12.
• The candidates must qualify for the Class 12 Board Exams with a total percentage of 75% and the essential subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The candidates must score at least 60% marks in each subject that is Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

How to Prepare for BITSAT 2025:

The eligibility criteria is strictly followed by the authorities of the Birla Institute of Science and Technology. Though there is no age limit for the BITSAT Exam the candidate must appear or have qualified the recent Class 12 Board Exams with the required percentage. 

It is very important to note that only those candidates who are appearing in the recent Class 12 Board Exams with the designated subjects are eligible to apply for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Also, candidates who have passed the previous year’s Class 12 Board Exams with the aforementioned subjects and the required percentage are eligible to apply for  BITSAT.    

The candidate who does not follow the required eligibility criteria that have been fixed by BITSAT authorities will not get admission to Birla Institute of Technology and Science. If a candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria for the BITSAT Exam and fills up the Examination Form, the submitted form will not be processed by the authorities.

Eligibility criteria  for B.Pharma and M.Sc courses in BITSAT

Apart from the B.Tech Courses, there are B.Pharma and M.Sc Courses in BITSAT for which a candidate can apply.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Pharma and M.Sc courses in BITSAT remains more or less the same as the BE courses. 

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Pharma and M.Sc courses can be summarized as follows:

• Candidates appearing for the B.Pharma course should qualify the Class 12 Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.
• Candidates who have Biology instead of Mathematics as their subject in Class 12 Boards can also apply for the B.Pharma course.
• Candidates should have English as the compulsory language in Class 12 Boards are eligible to apply for the BITSAT  Exam.
• Candidates should get a total of 75% marks in Class 12 Board Exams with 60% marks in each subject.
• Candidates applying for the integrated M.Sc program can qualify Class 12 ( 10+2) with the required percentage or complete BSc degree from a recognized University (10+2+3)

Candidates can attempt the BITSAT Examination more than once provided that they follow the eligibility norms that have been fixed by the Institute.

Eligibility criteria for an M.Sc course in BITSAT can be summarized in the following table:

The admission of the candidate to Birla Institute of Technology and Science is purely on the basis of the merit of the candidate that includes his or her score in BITSAT.

Candidates who do not get the required marks to qualify for the BITSAT Exam will not get admission to any of the Institutes of BITSAT.

Summary:

Birla Institute of Technology and Science is conducted for the Engineering aspirants and the qualified candidates are placed in any one of the campuses (Pilani, Hyderabad, or Goa) based on their scores.
