The University of Delhi also known as Delhi University was founded in 1922 and is located in New Delhi. The university has 86 academic departments which are divided into 16 faculties. • The MBBS course is of 5 and 1/2 years. 4 and ½ years of programme and 1 year of compulsory internship. This is a course in which efficiency in skills is equally important as the subject knowledge.
• You have to score minimum qualifying marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This admission in the MBBS course is through the entrance exam. NEET is the entrance exam you have to crack to take admission in the DU MBBS Exam 2025.
• Another eligibility for the course is that it requires a science stream in the higher secondary classes. You should have opted in the PCB.

DU MBBS Exam 2025 Notification:

The first DU MBBS 2025 Notification regarding the exam is released on the website. This helps students to easily access the information regarding the exam. The exam conducting authority provides the notification for the betterment of the students. The online procedure starts from the month of December and continues till May. Therefore, there is sufficient time to revise all the subjects between the DU MBBS Exam Registration and the exam.

There are around 476 medical colleges having approx 61,000 seats in India. However, it is not easy to get admission to any of these colleges. Counselling is the process through which you will get admission in a college. Through the counselling, you will be suggested the best college and course for you. It is based on your NEET score. In counselling, a merit list for all the students who were applied will be prepared. Based on your NEET score and your choices, seats will be allocated. 

The counselling process starts with your neet score and it is divided into two parts: Central Counselling and State counselling. You can apply for anyone kind of counselling or for both. The Central counselling is managed by DGHS. You have to apply here for 15% AIQ and Deemed University (approx 6500 seats). You can apply for central counselling at mcc.nic.in.

Apart from the central counselling, you can also apply for state counselling. Here you can apply for 85% govt colleges and 100% private colleges. So, if you are a native of Delhi and want to take admission in DU MBBS Exam 2025, you should apply for both central and state counselling.
