MET 2025:

MET Exam is also known as Manipal Entrance Test (MET) Exam is an entrance examination conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education to provide admission to candidates in various undergraduate courses.

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education is also popularly known as Manipal University. Through this entrance examination, the candidates can take admission in various UG and PG programs. The B.tech program offers 16 different courses alone and it is one of the most popular courses in which students are interested. These courses are offered by different colleges under the Manipal University such as Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Sikkim, and Manipal University Jaipur.

MET Registration Form 2025:

The MET Application Form has been released online by Manipal University on its official website. This year the form is released in the first week of September 2025 and the admission procedure has already begun. All the candidates must fill out the registration form to appear in the MET examination. In this phase, the candidates are required to fill in their personal as well as academic details and after you in this candidates need to upload their documents such as passport size photographs and signatures in the specified format as mentioned in the application form.

After filling out the application form candidates must check all the details provided to ensure that there is no mistake or error in the details provided and finally submit the application form before the deadline. incase there is any mistake or error found in the application form then the candidature of the student will be rejected.

Eligibility for MET 2025:

Below we have mentioned the eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the candidates who are seeking admission in Manipal University.

• An individual who is applying for the entrance examination should not be married.
• The candidate who is applying for the examination must be below 25 years in age.
• For the reserved category candidates, the minimum age criteria are 30 years.
• The candidate must have completed his or her class 12th from a recognized Institute.
• The candidates must have acquired at least 50% marks in the class 12th board examination.
• The candidate who is applying for the entrance examination must be physically fit and he or she must submit his medical certificate during the time of admission.

MET Exam Pattern 2025:

The MET Exam Pattern is designed by the Manipal University and it has been changed since last year. This year the examination is going to be conducted via online mode. 

• The MET Exam is going to be a computer-based online test.
• The examination will consist of a total of 200 questions.
• All the questions appearing in the examination are objective type in nature (Multiple Choice Questions).
• For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for every wrong attempt, 1 mark will be deducted.
• Candidates are allowed to give two attempts for the examination and among them, the best score will be counted for the ranking purpose.
• After the completion of the exam, the final score will be reflected on the screen just after the examination is over.
• The entrance test will be conducted in the English language only.

MET Syllabus 2025:

Three-dimensional geometry, Conic sections, Vectors, Limits and derivatives, Continuity and differentiability, Sequence and series, Matrices, Determinants, Straight lines, Applications of derivatives, Integrals, Applications of the integrals, Differential equations, statistics, probability, linear programming, Sets, relations and functions, Trigonometric functions, complex numbers and quadratic equations, Linear inequalities, Permutations and combinations, Binomial theorem, mathematical reasoning, etc.

MET Admit Card 2025:

Only the candidates who have successfully registered for the examination will receive their MET Admit Card before the examination. The admit card is released via online mode on the official website of Manipal University. Candidates can download their admit card using their login credentials by using their registration Id and Date of Birth. The admit card is usually released a month before the examination and all the candidates must appear in the examination hall with their admit cards. However, from this year the entrance test is being organized online and candidates just have to save a soft copy just in case to verify their profile.

MET Result 2025:

After the completion of the exam, Manipal University will declare the result in the form of a merit list. The merit list will be prepared using the marks performed by the candidates in the entrance examination. The candidates who have scored more marks will have a higher chance of getting admission to the desired course.

The Result of MET will be released via online mode on the official website of Manipal University.

Candidates who have appeared in the entrance examination can check their results by using their login credentials such as Id and Password or Date of Birth. The result will be released in the form of a scorecard which will consist of marks performed by the candidates in each section of the question paper.
