MCA Entrance 2024 Notification of NIMCET MCA:

The National Institute of Technology Common Entrance Test for MCA is conducted once a year for the admission of the candidates to the MCA programs to the National Institutes of Technology. There are a total of 800 seats for the MCA program that is offered by the 11 NITs in India and candidates will be allotted to the Institutes on the basis of the rank obtained in the exams.

Eligibility criteria of NIMCET Entrance Exam:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must secure at least 60% aggregate(55% for the reserved category) in B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons)/BIT from a recognized University.
• Candidates must have Mathematics/Statistics as the compulsory subjects in their Graduation.
• Candidates who have appeared for their final exams can also apply for admission provided they show relevant proof during the counseling process.
• Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned streams from an AICTE/UGC approved Open University are also eligible for application.

The duration of the NIMCET exam is 2 hours and there are 120 questions of 4 marks each.

WB JECA MCA Entrance Notification:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance examination Board for MCA Entrance exam 2024 is an offline exam for the admission of the candidates to the top MCA colleges in West Bengal. The Registration for the WB JECA is held online and the exam pattern will be available online on the official website of the authorities.

Eligibility criteria of WB JECA Entrance Exam:

• Candidates must qualify for the 3-year Bachelor's Degree program from a UGC-recognized University.

IPU CET MCA Entrance Test 2024 Details

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is held for regular and lateral admission of the candidates to the MCA program. This is a National level MCA Entrance Paper 2024 and the exam is held once a year.

Eligibility criteria of IPU CET Entrance Paper:

• Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s Degree program in any one of the following subjects: BCA/B.Sc(Information Technology)/B.Sc(Computer Science) from a recognized Institute.
• Candidates must have Mathematics as the compulsory subject in the Class 12 Board exam.
• Candidates must obtain at least 55% aggregate in their Graduation.

The IPU CET exam consists of objective-type questions with Multiple choice answers. The total time of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and the total number of questions is 150.

BIT Mesra MCA Exam Guidance

Birla Institute of Technology will conduct the MCA Entrance exam 2024 for the admission of the candidates to its campuses at Jaipur, Noida, and Mesra. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must apply for the exam online and selected candidates can take admission to the full-time MCA course at the campuses of BIT.

Eligibility Criteria of BIT Mesra Entrance Test:

• Candidates must complete the 10+2 from a recognized Board with Mathematics and Science as the compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must complete their Graduation in any one of the following subjects BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics).
• Candidates must have Mathematics or Statistics as the compulsory subject in Graduation.
• Candidates who have completed their B.Sc(Hons) must get at least 55% aggregate in the Honours subject.

The BIT Mesra admission process is online and candidates and the exam is computer-based with 2 hours duration. There will be 4 sections in the exam and the total number of questions is 120.

MAH MCA CET

The Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test is held for the admission of the candidates to the top MCA colleges in the State of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The MAH CET also conducts mock tests for the aspiring candidates; all the exam-related information is available on the official website of the authorities.

• Candidates must complete their Graduation from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% in any discipline.

The MAH CET MCA Entrance 2024 is an online Computer-based Test with a duration of 90 minutes. The exam consists of objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. The total number of questions for the MAH MCA Entrance Test 2024 is 100.

BHU PET MCA:

Banaras Hindu University conducts the Post Graduate Entrance Test for the admission of the candidates to the different postgraduate programs including the Master of Computer Applications. The application and fee submission process is online and candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their Application form on the official website.

Eligibility Criteria of BHU PET MCA Entrance Test:

• Candidates must complete their Graduation (10+2+3) from a recognized Institute with a 50% aggregate.
• Candidates must have studied Mathematics as the compulsory subject in 10+2 exams

LUCSAT:

Eligibility criteria of LUCSAT MCA Entrance Paper:

• Candidates must qualify for the B.Sc (Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology) or BCA/B.Tech/BE (Computer Science/Information Technology)from a recognized Institute.
• Candidates must get an aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved category) in the Class 10+2 exams.
• Candidates must have Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Applications in the Class 12 Board exams.
• Candidates who are in the 5th semester of the BCA program from Lucknow University or colleges affiliated with Lucknow University are eligible for application. These candidates must get an average aggregate of 50%(45% for the reserved category) till the 5th semester BCA exams.
• Candidates of final year B.Sc(Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications) from Lucknow University or Institutes affiliated to Lucknow University can also apply provided they have secured 50% (45% for the reserved category) in the 1st and 2nd year and do not have any Back paper.

The LUCSAT Entrance Exam consists of objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. The exam has a duration of 90 minutes and the total number of marks of the exam is 100.

JNU MCA Entrance:

The Jawaharlal Nehru University will conduct the MCA Entrance exam 2024 for the admission of the candidates to the Master of Computer Applications program in the University. Eligible candidates can check all the details of the exam before applying for the same. JNU MCA is a National Level exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Eligibility Criteria of JNU Entrance Exam:

• Candidates must qualify for the 10+2+3 exam from a recognized Institute with a 55% aggregate.
• Candidates must have Mathematics as the compulsory subject in the last qualifying exam.
• Admission to the MCA program of JNU is on the basis of a written test conducted by the Institute.

JNU MCA is a computer-based exam with a duration of 3 hours. The exam consists of objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. The medium of instruction of the exam is English and the total number of marks of the exam is 100.

TANCET Exam:

The TANCET exam is conducted by Anna University, Chennai for the admission of the candidates to the MCA course in the colleges of Tamil Nadu. The Application form for the TANCET exam is available online and eligible candidates can download it after completing the registration process.

Eligibility Criteria TANCET Entrance Exam:

• Candidates must complete their Graduation from a recognized Institute with a 50% aggregate.
• Candidates who have completed their graduation through the Distance/Online program are not eligible for application.
