MPSC Exam

MPSC is the Maharashtra Public Service Commission exam and is conducted for the hiring of the candidates in the various posts of the Maharashtra Government.The exam is held for the recruitment of the candidates for Civil Services jobs in the different Departments of Maharashtra like Engineering, Forestry, Administration and Police.

 MPSC 2025 is a State level exam and there are about 15 exams that are held for the Group A, Group B and Group C  services. The MPSC exam 2025 is a Rajyaseva recruitment exam for posts like Assistant Director- Finance and Accounts service, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Collector, Superintendent of State Excise,Assistant Regional Transport officer. Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the exams.

Eligibility Criteria for the MPSC Exam 2025:

The MPSC Exam Application process is online and eligible candidates must fill in the Application form with the correct information. Read all the instructions carefully before filling in the Application form. It is important to upload correct documents along with the Application form. Candidates who belong to special caste categories must upload correct caste certificates.

Eligibility Criteria for the MPSC recruitment 2025:

Age limit

The minimum age of the candidates must be 19 years and the maximum age must be 38 years. The upper age limit relaxation is for the candidates belonging to the following categories:

  • Backward castes- 43 years
  • Ex servicemen/Retired Government Officer
  • General- 43 years
  • Reserved category- 48 years
  • Candidates with disabilities- 45 years
  • Qualified players
  • General- 43 years
  • Reserved categories- 48 years

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian National.

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates must have a Graduation degree from a recognized University or College.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their Graduation exams can also apply.
  • Candidates must be fluent in Marathi language.
  • Candidates who have studied Law in their Graduation exam will be given preference over others.

Special Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of DSP must fulfill the following requirements

  • Minimum height of male candidates- 165 cm
  • Minimum height of female candidates- 157 cm

Important Points of the MPSC Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • There is no limitation for the number of attempts of the MPSC exam.
  • Applicants must have a domicile Certificate.
  • Those who are applying in the caste category must have a valid caste certificate from a recognized authority.
  • Candidates claiming age relaxation in multiple categories will get only one relaxation as applicable.
  • Male candidates having more than one wife and female candidates with husbands with more than one spouse will not be eligible for application.
