NIELIT Exam Information 2025

The registration for the NIELIT Exam has been started by the conducting authority for the for O/A/B/C levels.  The date of the NIELIT 'O' level July cycle has been extended due to technical/administrative issues. All the direct and institute candidates need to register before April 2 for the NIELIT A/B/C level (July cycle).

NIELIT CHMT-O Level course’s registration dates, along with payment verification for July, are open till the 10th of April only for the institute candidates.

What is NIELIT?

NIELIT stands for  National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Exam, which is a national-level exam, and the institution itself is the conducting body. For the admissions of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the NIELIT exam is conducted every year, and titles are Non-Formal Courses - O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level. The frequency is twice a year, and it is held in January and July.

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MoE&IT), Government of India, has administrative authority over the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), formerly known as the DOEACC Society. NIELIT is an independent scientific society. In order to perform human resource development and associated tasks in the fields of information, electronics, and communications technology (IECT), NIELIT was founded.

NIELIT has 47 offices available in different cities, and the main headquarters are in New Delhi. Along with that, it has a network of more than 700 institutes.
