Top PGDM Entrance Exam in India:

PGDM CAT Entrance Exam 2024:

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. CAT is the compulsory exam for the admission of the candidates to the  IIMs and other top Business schools in India for the 2 year PGDM course. The exam is conducted in the computer-based mode and eligible candidates can apply on the official website of IIMs. The CAT exam is conducted in English and has a duration of 2 hours.

Eligibility for PGDM CAT Entrance Exam:

  • Candidates must complete their Graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
  • Candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate(45% for the reserved category) in the Bachelor’s Degree exam.
  • There is no age bar for the CAT exam.

The CAT exam is held in 3 sessions and has a duration of 120 minutes. There are 3 sections of the CAT exam that are Quantitative Ability, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, Data Accuracy, and Logical Reasoning.

PGDM MAT Entrance Exam 2024

The Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association).MAT is a National Level exam and is held in all three modes that are paper-based mode (PBT), Internet-based mode(IBT), and Computer-based mode(CBT). The MAT exam is conducted in 4 sessions every year and the registration process for the exam is online.

Eligibility for PGDM MAT Entrance Exam:

  • Candidates must complete their graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the MAT exams.
  • Working professionals like CA or ICWA can also apply for the MAT exams.
  • There is no upper age limit for the MAT exams.

There are 5 sections in the MAT exam including Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills and Intelligence, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Critical Reasoning. The exam duration is 150 minutes and there are a total of 200 questions.

PGDM ATMA Entrance Test 2024

The Aims Test for Management School(ATMA) exam is a National level exam for the admission of the candidates to PGDM courses in the top Management colleges. The exam is held 4 times a year and is conducted in the Internet-based model.

Eligibility for ATMA PGDM Entrance Exam:

  • Applicants must be a citizen of India.
  • Applicants must complete their Graduation from a recognized Institute with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • The lower age limit of the candidates must not exceed 21 years.

The ATMA exam has a time duration of 3 hours and the total number of questions is 180. The different sections of the ATMA exam include Aptitude, English Comprehension, and Reasoning.

PGDM SNAP Entrance Test 2024:

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is conducted by the Symbiosis National University for the admission of the candidates to the 16 MBA Institutes in India. Candidates can download the SNAP Application form on the official website and the mode of application is online.

Eligibility of the SNAP Exam:

  • Candidates who have completed the 3 years Bachelor's Degree program can apply for the SNAP exam.
  • The minimum aggregate in the Graduation is 50%(45% for the reserved category).
  • Candidates who have appeared for their Graduation exams and are awaiting results can also apply for the SNAP exams.

There are 3 sections of the exam and the total time of the exam is 2 hours. The sections of the SNAP exams include General English, Quantitative Data interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

PGDM NMAT Entrance Exam:

NMAT is a National level PGDM Entrance exam 2024 for the admission of the candidates to the Management courses in the top Institutes accepting the NMIMS score. The NMAT exam is conducted by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council(GMAC). NMAT is a flexible exam as candidates can schedule their exam date and time of the exam from the provided slots.

Eligibility criteria of the NMAT exams:

  • Candidates must complete their 3 year Bachelor’s Degree program from a recognized University.
  • Candidates must get a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Bachelor’s Degree exam.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of Graduation are also eligible for application.

The NMAT exam consists of 3 sections: Language skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative skills. NMAT is an Online Computer-based exam and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. The questions are objective types with multiple choice answers.

PGDM IBSAT Entrance Exam:

The IBSAT exam is conducted by the ICFAI Foundation and is one of the most preferred PGDM Entrance exams. The IBSAT exam consists of 4 sections and the syllabus is very similar to the MBA syllabus. The sections of the IBSAT exam include Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal ability, Data adequacy, and Data interpretation.

Eligibility criteria of the IBSAT exams

  • Candidates must complete the 3 years (10+2+3) or the 4 years (10+2+4) Graduation from a recognized Institute.
  • Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in their Graduation.
  • Candidates must have English as the compulsory subject in Graduation.
  • Candidates in their final year of Graduation are also eligible for application.
  • Candidates who did not complete their Graduation from an English medium Institute must have a valid score in the TOEFL/NELT/IELTS.

The IBSAT exam is conducted in the Computer-based Online mode and the total duration of the exam is 2 hours. The medium of the exam is English and the exams are objective type with multiple choice answers.

PGDM XAT Entrance Exam:

Xavier Aptitude Test is a National level PGDM Entrance exam and the XAT exam score is accepted by 700 Institutes across the country. There are 4 sections of the XAT exam namely Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision making, General knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation. The XAT Exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur.

Eligibility criteria of the XAT Exam:

  • Candidates who have completed their Graduation in any discipline can apply for the XAT exams.
  • Candidates who have completed their post-graduation can also apply.
  • Candidates must have Indian citizenship.
  • NRI candidates can also apply for the XAT exams.
  • Foreign candidates must have a valid GMAT score for the XAT exams.’
  • Candidates can apply an unlimited number of times for the XAT exams.
  • Candidates with Managerial or Supervisory experience will be given preference.
  • Candidates with full-time job experience will be considered. Candidates with internship experience will not be considered.

The XAT exam has objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. There are a total of 100 questions in the XAT exam. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the medium of the exam is English.

PGDM MAH CET Entrance Test

The MAH CET is a State level Entrance exam for the admission of candidates to the top Management Institutes in Maharashtra. The MAH CET exams consist of 4 sections namely Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Abstract Reasoning. There are over 330 colleges in Maharashtra that accept the MAH CET PGDM Entrance exam score.

Eligibility criteria of the MAH CET Exams:

  • Candidates must have a minimum age limit of 21 years.
  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.’
  • Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute.
  • Candidates must have 50% marks in their Graduation.
  • Candidates who have appeared for their final year Graduation exam are also eligible for applying for the PGDM Entrance exam.
  • Foreign students who meet the basic academic requirements can also apply for admission.

The MAH CET Exams have 200 objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in the exam.

PGDM CMAT Entrance Exam:

The Common Management Aptitude Test is a National level PGDM Entrance exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency. CMAT is an online Computer-based test and the scores of this exam are accepted by the AICTE approved Management Institutes in India. CMAT exam consists of 4 sections- Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative and Data Interpretation, General awareness.

Eligibility for CMAT Entrance Exam:

  • Candidates must complete the Bachelor’s Degree exam in any stream.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of the Bachelor’s degree exam can also apply for the PGDM Entrance paper.
  • Candidates must secure at least 50% marks(45% for the reserved category) in the Bachelor’s Degree exam.
