Rajasthan TET 2024: REET Stand for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test. REET is a state-level exam that is conducted by the Basic Shiksha Education Board every year. This exam is conducted in order to recruit teachers for the position of teachers in any government and private schools of Rajasthan. There are two papers that you can apply for. Paper I is for the candidates who want to teach students from classes 1 to 5 while paper II is for the students who want to teach students from classes VI to VIII. The RTET 2024 Exam is of 90 minutes having 150 questions. You will be given +1 marks for your correct response, however, there are no negative marks for any wrong or unattempted answer.

Important Points for Rajasthan TET Exam 2024:

✎ The RTET 2024 Exam is an online exam that incorporates objective-type questions.

✎ The exam contains 150 questions that have to be completed in a duration of 90 minutes.

✎The mark awarded for each correct answer is +1. The total questions will be 150 which is totally objective in nature. However, for any incorrect or unanswered question, no marks will be deducted.

✎ To qualify for the REET Exam 2024, candidates have to score more than the cutoff marks. These cutoff marks are set by the board.

Eligibility for REET 2024:

Rajasthan TET Exam 2024 Eligibility criteria are different for both Papers I and Paper-II. But there are some common criteria that a candidate must follow. The criteria are given below.

➥ Candidate must clear 12th or equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board.

➥ Candidate must have cleared a Diploma in Teacher Education from any approved Teacher Training Institute.

➥ The aspirant must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 50% marks.

➥ The aspirant who is in the final year of B.Ed can also apply for the Rajasthan TET Exam 2024.

For Paper I:

The candidate should have scored more than 45% marks in their class 12th or equivalent degree.
The candidates who are in the final 2-year Diploma in Elementary education or 2-year Diploma in Special Education or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) can also apply for REET 2024.
The candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% in BSc/ BA and B.Ed degrees can also apply for this exam.

For Paper II:

The candidates who have completed B.Sc/ BA and who are in the final year of B.A./ D.Ed./ B.Sc. having 45% marks can apply for this exam.
Aspirants appearing in Senior Secondary/ B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks and cleared or pursuing 4 years BA/ B.Sc.Ed.
Candidates in A.(Ed)/ B.Sc. (Ed), final year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ B.Ed. in special education with a minimum of 50% marks in BA or B.Sc. can apply for this REET 2024 Exam.
