REET Exam 2024

REET Exam: The Rajasthan Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted every year by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education for the recruitment of  Grade 3 primary teachers. There are more than 20000 vacancies for the REET exam and interested candidates can check all the exam-related notifications on the official website.

Eligible candidates can apply for the REET Exam online on the official website. REET is a compulsory exam for the candidates who will apply for teaching positions from Classes 1 to 8 of the Government Schools of Rajasthan. The REET 2024 will take place on May 14th and May 15th for the recruitment of teachers. Eligibility Criteria for REET 2024:

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan formulates the qualification for Level 1 and Level 2 of the REET Exam. Interested candidates must check all the criteria carefully before applying for the REET Exams.

General Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must be Indian nationals. Candidates with a foreign Nationality are not eligible for the REET Exam.
• The minimum age of the candidates must be 18 years. There is no maximum age limit for the REET exams.
• Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Candidates must get a minimum 60% aggregate to qualify for the REET exam and get selected for the post of Grade 3 teachers.

​​​​Academic Qualification for Level 1 (Classes I to V):

• Candidates must pass the Class 10+2/Senior Secondary exam from a recognized Board with a 50% aggregate. Candidates must also qualify for/2nd year in the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Candidates must qualify for the Class 10+2/Senior Secondary exams from a reputed Board with a minimum 45% aggregate.
• Candidates must qualify for/2nd year in the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE Regulation 2002).
• Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary/Class 12 exams from a recognized Board with a 50% aggregate. Candidates must qualify/final year of the 4-year duration Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Candidates must qualify for the Class 12/Higher Secondary exams with 50% aggregate and pass the Diploma in Special Education (2-year duration).
• Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institute and qualify for the Diploma in Elementary Education(2-year duration).

Academic Qualification for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

• Candidates must complete their Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% and qualify for the B.Ed exam(1-year duration).
• Candidates must complete Graduation and qualify for the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Candidates must complete their Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45% and qualify for the B.Ed program(1year) in accordance with NCTE norms.
• Candidates must complete their Graduation with an aggregate of 50% and have qualified/final year of the B.El.Ed (4 years) exam.
• Candidates must qualify for the Bachelor’s Degree exam from a recognized University and complete the B.Ed (Special Education) program.
• Candidates must qualify for the Higher Secondary exams with a minimum of 50% aggregate and qualify/final year of the 4 years B.A/B.Sc B.Ed exam.
