TNPSC Group 4 Exam pattern 2025

TNPSC Group 4 Exam pattern: Candidates must check the TNPSC Group 4 exam pattern before starting their study preparation. The selection of the Group 4 candidates is based on a written exam. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the questions are objective types. The total marks for the TNPSC Group 4 exam pattern 2025 are 300. The subjects of the exam include- General Studies, Aptitude Test, General English/General Tamil.

The questions on General Studies are in English and Tamil.  Earlier candidates could choose between General English or General Tamil in the third paper but now Tamil is the compulsory language in the 3rd paper of the TNPSC Exams.

Details of the TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern 2025

• The general studies section has 75 questions based on  Current affairs, History, Politics, General Science, Economy.
• The Aptitude has 25 questions based on Mental ability and Aptitude. The questions are all objective types.
• The General English/General Tamil paper has a total of 100 questions.
• There are a total of 200 questions in the exam.
• The total mark of the exam is 300.
• The minimum qualifying mark is 90
• There is no negative marking in the TNPSC Group 4 exam.
