AKTU Entrance Exam pattern 2024

AKTU Entrance Paper Pattern: Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam University uploads the AKTU Entrance pattern on the official website and candidates can check it from there. The AKTU Entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for the admission of the candidates to the undergraduate, postgraduate and Lateral entry courses in the Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

The AKTU Entrance Paper pattern 2024 consists of the total number of papers for each exam, sections for each paper, the mode of the exam, the total number of questions, the duration of the exam, the weightage of each section, and the marking scheme.

Candidates must download the AKTU Exam pattern from the official website and start studying for the exams.AKTU Entrance Exam will be held as a Computer-based Test and will consist of multiple-choice questions. The AKTU B.Pharma Entrance exam has a duration of 3 hours while all the other exams have a duration of 2 hours. There is no negative marking scheme for the AKTU Entrance exams.

Facts of the AKTU Entrance Pattern 2024:

  • There are a total of 11 papers in the AKTU Entrance exam for the different courses.
  • All the papers except the Drawing Aptitude Test (B.Arch) consist of objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
  • Candidates have to mark only 1 answer for each question.
  • Candidates must attempt the OMR( Paper I, Paper 2, Paper 3, Paper 4) sheet in blue/black pen only.
  • The test duration will vary from one paper to another.
  • Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct attempt. There is no negative marking in the AKTU exams.

Tie-breaking rules of AKTU Entrance Paper Pattern 2024:

  • The Tie-breaking rule will be applicable if 2 or more candidates appearing for the same course gets the same marks in the AKTU Entrance exam. In such cases, the tie-breaking guidelines will be applied for selecting the candidate for the higher rank.
  • Parameters for the tie-breaking rules of AKTU Entrance exam pattern 2024.
  • Candidates who have the minimum number of incorrect answers in the AKTU exams will get a higher rank. If the tie still persists, candidates will be judged on the scores obtained by them in different sections. 

Tie-breaking policies on the basis of the scores are as follows:

  • For the B.Pharm AKTU Entrance exam candidates who get more scores in the Biology/Chemistry section will get a higher rank. If the tie persists, candidates with more age will get a higher rank.
  • For the MCA (integrated) AKTU Entrance exam, candidates who get higher scores in Maths or Statistics or Accountancy will get the higher rank. If the tie persists candidates with higher scores in the Logical reasoning section will get the higher rank. If a tie still persists, candidates with more age will get a higher rank.
  • For all other courses of the AKTU Entrance exam, candidates with more age will get the higher rank.
