How to Calculate the KCET Exam Answer key 2025?

Here are the simple steps to calculate the KCET Answer key 2025. Have a look.

• Check the number of options that you have marked correctly in the exam.
• For every correct answer, you will score 4 marks.
• There is no negative marking in KCET Exam 2025 for an unattempted question.
• 1 mark will be deducted for any wrong answer. 
• Total marks = (Number of correct answers) x (4) - 1 (For any wrong answer)

KCET Exam Seat Reservation 2025:

Reservation for reserved category candidates – OBC, SC, and ST

• In order to get all the benefits of KCET Exam seat reservation, candidates must belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes of citizens under categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B.
• The eligible candidates must produce ‘Caste Certificate/ Caste Income Certificate’ which is issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tahasildar during document verification.

Reservation for Rural candidates

• 15% of the government seats in KCET are reserved for rural candidates. Such candidates must have studied ten full academic years from Class 1-10 in educational institutions within Karnataka.

Reservation for Kannada medium candidates

• 5% of the government seats are reserved for the students who have studied ten full academic years in the Kannada medium from Class 1-10 in educational institutions within Karnataka.

KCET Exam Seat Matrix 2025:

KCET Exam 2025 Seat Matrix will be released on the official website in the online mode only by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). According to the performance in KCET 2025, candidates will get admission to various colleges/institutes. With the help of the seat matrix, the number of seats available in the participating institutes will be made available to the candidates.

All the KCET aspirants must know that the cut-off marks will be different from each participating institute. The Authorities will announce the seat matrix for the year 2025 on its official website. The entrance examination of KCET will be conducted in Offline mode. The exam consisting of two papers: Paper 1: Biology and Mathematics and Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry.
