MBA Entrance Cut Off 2024: MBA is one of the most sought-after courses in today’s times as candidates equipped with an MBA degree get career opportunities in reputed companies with good salary packages. The MBA Entrance Exams are conducted at the National Level, State Level, and Institute Level.

The widely accepted MBA Entrance exam is CAT which is a National level exam and is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Cut Off Marks for the CAT EntranceExam

  • Admission to the top MBA colleges based on the top CAT exam scores is based on the 2 types of cut-offs. The qualifying cutoffs and the final cutoffs. 
  • The qualifying cut-off is the minimum percentage of marks obtained by the candidate for appearing for the further rounds of interviews at the IIMs. The qualifying cutoff is based on the score of the candidate obtained in the CAT exams.
  • The final cut-off is released by the Institutes after the completion of the written aptitude test, group discussion, and Personal interview. Criteria for CAT Admission 2024

Candidates who qualify for the CAT exams will be shortlisted for further MBA admission 2024 Cut Off as a part of the final round of selection for the top Management interviews. The next round includes the written aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview.

Documents Necessary for the Final Cut-off

  • Self-attested copies of Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation Marksheet and Certificate (original and photocopies).
  • Copies of Caste category and disability Certificates if any  (original and photocopies).
  • Candidates appearing for the final year graduation exam must present a Certificate from the Principal/Registrar.

MAT Entrance Exam

  • The MAT exam is conducted by the All India Management Association(AIMA) and the MBA Entrance Cut Off for MAT is decided by the different Institutes. The MAT cutoff is released a few days after the exam and candidates can check the cutoff for the different Institutes from the official website. Candidates who have qualified for the MAT exams with the required rank can apply for admission to the different Management colleges.
  • Most of the colleges conduct Group discussions and Personal Interviews as a part of the admission process. Other colleges consider the MAT composite score and the Sectional scores for selection. The MAT Composite score is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the 4 sections- Mathematical skills, Language comprehension, Intelligence, Critical reasoning, Data analysis, and Interpretation.
  • The MAT exam cutoff is based on the total number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, the total number of students who qualified for the MAT exam, the total number of seats available in the particular Institute, and the reservation criteria of the Institute.

Steps for Admission 2024:

  • Go to the official website of the Institute if you want to apply for admission.
  • On the homepage select the “Examination” section.
  • Enter login details like name, date of birth, and registration number.
  • Click the submit button.
  • Wait for some time.
  • The MAT Cutoff marks will appear on the screen.

Admission Process will depend on the following factors:

  • Academic performance of the candidate (Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation).
  • A MAT exam score of the candidate
  • Work experience of the candidate ( if the candidate is a working professional)
  • Performance of the candidate in Group discussion and Personal interview.

Documents Necessary for MBA Entrance Cut Off for the MAT Exams:

Candidates who have cleared the rounds including the Written Ability Test, Personal  Interview, and Group discussion will be selected by the particular Institutes to join the MBA/PGDM programs. The candidates will be called for the document verification process.
